Helmsman Supply Limited proudly announces the successful completion of its first B24 marine biofuel delivery to a container vessel operated by Yang Ming, carried out in July at HIT Terminal. This landmark operation marks a significant expansion in our service portfolio and represents a major stride forward in Helmsman’s ongoing green energy transformation.
B24 marine biofuel—comprising 24% B100 (UCOME) and 76% very low sulphur fuel oil—can reduce carbon emissions by at least 84%, offering a cleaner alternative amid the evolving fuel landscape. Though other alternative energies are emerging, biodiesel remains an industry-recognized interim solution for low-carbon shipping.
